If you find your self compelled or insane enough to want to book me for shows or even a tour you can simply shoot off an email requesting my services so long as the below criteria is met in a round about kinda way. Upon reading the below will fill you with a warm realisation as to why I hardly ever perform live anymore.
1: All travel, accommodation, advertising, staging, back line, crew expenses, drugs and lady boy hire must be covered by the booker/promoter. Example: Please no floor sleeping on a filthy, smelly futon at some friends house who happens to also be an insomniac that fails to notice the mountainous piles of cat shit dotting the landscape of their house hold. I'm not asking for 5 star but clean, comfortable and humane unlike some of the last 20 years of performing I at times experienced.
2: I will not do gimmicky promotional commercial breakfast TV/radio PR appearances and don't even think of asking me to mime to my own songs on some fucking inane variety show (you will indeed regret the day if you do). I will however be happy to promote on grass roots, public access TV or public radio stations such as 3RRR or 3PBS. Basically my artistic licence and integrity will be met by the booker/promoter.
3: On request I will provide a non-negotiable guaranteed figure $$$ that I expect to be paid for services rendered. In this figure I will be accounting for the wages of myself, my backing band, food/dinning expenses and rehearsal costs.
4: All immigration and visa requirements will be arranged by the booker/promoter.
5: Beer is very, very important to me so please do not provide mass produced mega-swill such as CUB, Tooheys, Coors, Miller, Fosters etc, etc. I will be happy with any independent micro produced regional beer.
6: Finally...take the above with a grain of salt. I'm sure we can work something out.
